MEC is delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new Support Site for teachers
The Macmillan English Campus (MEC) team is always looking for new ways to support schools and language institutions using MEC with their students.
Now we are delighted to announce our latest development – the launch of a brand-new Support Site. The new site contains a wealth of materials which will help teachers as they begin using MEC with their learners.
You can see the new MEC Support Site here:

What does the Support Site contain?
The MEC Support Site is full of resources that will help you get the most out of MEC with your learners.
Resources contained on the MEC Support Site include:
- A comprehensive resources section, with downloadable, photocopiable worksheets and teacher’s notes and useful suggestions for classroom activities;
- Lesson Plans;
- Dictionary worksheets;
- Links to relevant websites;
- Interactive Flash tours of MEC;
- Downloadable copies of the Guide to MEC;
- A brand new FAQ section;
- A brand new feedback and comments form;
- Downloadable technical documents such as the MEC Portal Guide.
We will be adding new content to this site regularly, so look out for more resources to follow, including further dictionary worksheets and lesson plans covering a broader range of resource types contained within MEC.
Who is the Support Site for?
The Support Site is for teachers using MEC with learners in their school, whether they are experienced users or trying it for the first time. The site will support the integration of online learning into your classroom.
The Support Site also contains a separate section for administrators. The MEC administrators are involved in the organisation and management of MEC within their school or language institution. For administrators, the Support Site contains all of the above materials plus downloadable technical documents and a specially tailored FAQ section.
We are always keen to receive user feedback, and encourage all teachers using MEC to contact us with questions, ideas and thoughts via this new Support Site.
What does the Support Site mean for MEC users?
Part of our commitment to all of our customers is to provide face-to-face training within your actual teaching location. This personal after-sales support sets MEC apart from all other language learning products.
That face-to-face training will stay right at the heart of what we do for you. However, the Support Site will now supplement this by allowing teachers to begin using MEC more autonomously and more confidently right from the start.
Most of all, this new development demonstrates Macmillan’s pledge to provide new support materials at no additional cost to you and our commitment to the highest standards of pedagogy and teaching resources.
