Conference CentreELT goes to Aberdeen

Around 1,500 people from the ELT world, including many teachers and publishers, gathered to meet, attend and present sessions about English language teaching and innovation.

There were presentations on every conceivable subject, ranging from new teaching approaches to business models for language schools. Technological innovation was at the forefront of the conference, with video and audio footage being broadcast over the internet, as well as dedicated online forums.

A team from Macmillan English Campus attended the conference and could be found at a prominent stand at the front of the exhibition centre. On entering the hall by the main entrance, visitors were met by an array of Macmillan banners.

Members of the team were on hand to give demonstrations of the English Campus to representatives from different language schools, to answer questions and to distribute promotional items to willing recipients!
